About Us

 David W. Reid

As resource center director for First United Methodist Church of Fort Collins, David W. Reid serves as staff librarian. Before he became director in 2011, Reid was a member of the Library Board for six years.
The Northern Colorado Faith Library is located at First United Methodist Church of Fort Collins, which is the primary sponsor of the library.

The library provides services to members of the church and to members throughout Fort Collins and Northern Colorado. Membership is free.

The library's mission is to help members of the church and the wider community lead lives that are faithful to God by providing resources that educate, inspire, challenge and refresh.

The idea
that a faith library can reach beyond the walls of a single church and join forces with others to strengthen the faith community of an entire region has inspired a powerful response.
Generous start-up funding has been provided by the Good Is Not Good Enough program at First United Methodist Church of Fort Collins; the church's own foundation; and many individuals.

The NCFL was named Outstanding Congregational Library for 2009 by the Church and Synagogue Library Association.
